Scanning and adding

The camera won't open to scan.

Allow the camera in Settings › Meu Potinho › Camera. Meanwhile, you can use Type barcode.

The product didn't fill in.

Suggestions come from open databases, such as Open Food Facts, and not every product is there. Add it once: after that, you just scan.

The barcode won't scan.

Use Type barcode and enter the numbers under the bars (8 to 14 digits).

Shared home

How do I invite someone to my home?

On the Home tab, tap your avatar at the top of the screen, then Invite someone › Send invite. The invite is sent as an iCloud link. Up to 2 people on the free version and up to 6 on Premium.

How do I leave a home?

Go to Home › your avatar › Leave this home. If the home is yours, the button is called Stop sharing. The screen that opens is iCloud's.

iCloud and syncing

Do I need iCloud?

Not to use it on your iPhone. Without iCloud, your data stays only on the device and doesn't sync with your watch or your home.

I see “Didn't sync”.

Tap Try again. Your data is still saved on your iPhone.

I switched iCloud accounts.

The app asks whether to keep or delete the data on this iPhone.

Alerts

I'm not getting expiry alerts.

Check Settings › Notifications › Meu Potinho and your preferences in Home › your avatar › Alerts. Alerts are scheduled on the iPhone itself.

Premium and subscription

How do I cancel?

In Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Meu Potinho. Apple handles billing, cancellation and refunds: to request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

I got a new iPhone and Premium is gone.

In Home › your avatar › See Premium, tap Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account you subscribed with.

Who pays in the home?

Only the person who subscribes. The whole home gets Premium, and being invited costs nothing.

Apple Watch

The watch shows nothing.

The watch syncs on its own through iCloud. Check that it uses the same Apple Account as your iPhone and that it's online.

Your data

How do I delete everything?

Go to Home › your avatar › Delete all data. This deletes it from your iPhone and from iCloud. See also the Privacy policy.
